Who can access the programme?
Retired members of the teaching and research staff (PDI) and technical management and administration and services staff (PTGAS).
How long does it last?
Four years.
What activities can you carry out under the programme?
- Mentoring activities (person to person)
- Advisory activities (in the service, department, research institute, research group etc.)
- Activities that strengthen the UdG's social and solidarity commitment
- Activities for spreading and publicising the activity at the UdG
- Giving a talk or seminar
- Being part of a project’s work team (but not of a project’s research team)
- Being a member, as a collaborator, in an UdG research group, in the case of teaching and research staff, as “honorary teaching staff”
- Supervising doctoral theses (in the case of PhD teaching and research staff), although a tutor will be required (on the administrative part) who is an active member of the teaching and research staff at the UdG
Anyone joining this programme is expected to devote no more than a few hours a week to it.
On the other hand, you should be aware that you will not able to run academic or university-management activities, give classes as a member of the teaching staff, carry out experiments in a laboratory or occupy a physical workspace at the UdG.
