Health Promotion

Aiming to promote healthy habits among the university community and Girona society, the Social Commitment Unit, the Sports Service and the Occupational Health Office have all collaborated to offer activities, workshops and lectures to celebrate Health Week at the University of Girona’s various campuses.

Working in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University, Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the open University of Catalonia, the UdG’s Social Commitment Unit prepared a series of online activities and the Victor Kuppers lecture on 8 and 9 April, as part of the joint work they carry out in the USCAT Network.

All the activities are free, but require assistance monitoring in the case of Sports Service activities are face to face and online, registrations with the Sports Service’s webpage  .

From 3 to 7 April 2018

UdG Health Week took place during the week o 3 to 7 April. Its aim was to promote healthy habits among the university community and the general public of Girona. It coincided with World Physical Activity Day (6 April) and World Health Day (7 April).
