UdG Health Week

Look after yourself, we’re counting on you!

7 to 8 April 2025 is Health Week at the University of Girona.Check out all the activities on this page and get involved!

Students who take part in the activities organised by the Social Commitment and Professional Guidance Unit will get 5 hours of academic recognition.Moreover, if they accumulate a total of 25 hours of participation, they will be awarded 1 academic credit.

Registrations

If you are a STUDENT or ALUMNI

If you are a student of the UdG you can obtain academic recognition hours by participating in activities.

Every workshops counts for 5 hours, and when you accumulate 25 you can obtain 1 credit of academic recognition.

Student and Alumni registration

If you are a member of the PDI (admin and service staff) or PTGAS (teaching and research staff)

Send a mail to promociosalut@udg.edu specifying which activities you want to attend.

The activity on Friday 11 April: Guide for addressing suicidal behaviour in the university environment, is part of the PDI and PTGAS Training Plan.

UdGSalut: Look after yourself, we’re counting on you!

Aiming to promote healthy habits among the university community and Girona society, UdGSalut is organising activities, workshops and lectures to celebrate Health Week at the University of Girona’s various campuses.

We organised all the activities, here at the UdG's Social Commitment Unit, dedicated to improving mental health and emotional well-being

Nature trails at the UdG

Discover the healthy natural spaces at the University of Girona through trails designed to allow you to enjoy the environment while taking care of your health.These trails will give you the chance to discover the biodiversity of the Montilivi Campus, the geology of the Jardí de Roques and other green spaces at the UdG.

Montilivi Campus Flora: Explore the green world of the campus with this trail that takes you through the gardens and the library wood.

Rock Garden: A unique space where geology takes centre stage, with a collection of rocks representative of the Girona region.

Environmental Trail: An educational trail to better understand sustainability and the natural environment at the UdG.

Walking routes to the UdG

The University of Girona offers several walking routes to get to the university’s campuses on foot.They are designed to be safe, accessible and enjoyable, promoting more sustainable mobility and improving your health.

The routes connect different parts of the city with the main UdG campuses. Each one includes information on length, approximate time taken and health benefits, helping you choose the option that is best for you.

Bicycle routes to the UdG

Getting to the University of Girona by bicycle is an ecological and healthy alternative, thanks to the network of cycle lanes that link the different campuses with the city.Explore the recommended routes for a safe, easy journey.
