Gerió

Gerió is the new centralised system for managing scientific activity at the UdG.

Access to Gerió

Coordinated by the Technical Office for Research and Transfer (OTRiT), the Gerió provides the functions necessary for managingscientific activity of the institution, putting special emphasis on the curricular management of our research community.

El Gerió offers a highly skilled working environmentinterconnectedwith the rest of the University’s information systems. It also allows direct synchronisation with reference external data sources - such asScopus, WoS, Espacenet and Mendeley- which simplifies daily management and adds value to research staff.

In turn, the UdG Research Portal is the platform tasked with publishing the information managed through the Gerió. This showcase gives visibility to the UdG’s research activity, both individually (through research staff profiles) and collectively, grouping the results according to the research units that make up the university’s R & D & I structure.

Finally, the Gerió system will facilitate the export of scientific production to other platforms, such as DugiDocs and the Research Portal of Catalonia (PRC). Likewise, the tool will make it possible to prepare detailed reports to support strategic decision-making in both the institutional and research departments and institutes.
