Social Commitment

Fair trade

12 May 2026

Fair Trade fights against poverty and exploitation, climate change, and the vast inequalities faced by the world's most vulnerable populations.

The UdG is committed to Global Justice and, for this reason, in 2004, mandated the use of Fair Trade coffee in all its cafeterias and vending machines. Currently, the UdG is certified as a Fair Trade University.

Once again, the UdG is participating in World Fair Trade Day, where various Fair Trade activities will take place on 12 May 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in front of the Montilivi Campus Library.
