Social Commitment

Fair trade

13 May 2025

Fair Trade fights against poverty and exploitation, against climate change and major inequalities in the most vulnerable populations in the world.

The UdG is committed to Global Justice and because of this, in 2004, it introduced the obligation of serving Fair Trade coffee in all cafés and vending machines and, today, the UdG is certified as a Fair Trade University.

The UdG is again joining in with the annual World Fair Trade Day, holding different Fair Trade activities on 13 May 2025.
