The complexity of managing the water cycle and the need for its cybersecurity imply the need for a multidisciplinary approach that fits in with the strategic vision of the UdG2030: the Sum of Intelligences. In this respect, the chair is an example of sum intelligences in that it involves a research team made up of teaching staff with extensive experience in research and training-related activities in the sphere of the digitalisation of water and cybersecurity, in terms of technology, law and artificial intelligence.
The chair will centre its efforts on giving support to the technological and digital development of the public institutions involved, companies and the citizens in cybersecurity technologies, offering solutions to the most important challenges facing the sector.
