Guide to online enrolment

Academic year 2023-2024

The online enrolment is the University of Girona's electronic enrolment system where enrolment is carried out via the internet, and is available for most study programmes.

① Log on to theonline enrolment identifying yourself with your username and password.

② Use the links on the left of the screen to find information on enrolment, review the subjects available for your degree, see the guide to activities with academic credits, etc.

③ If necessary, you can check the state of your academic curriculum by clicking on “Record”.

① Before starting enrolment, click on the "Grants and Allowances" tab to check if you are entitled to allowances or exemptions on tuition fees and – if you need to apply for a scholarship – to find out about the conditions for enrolling without paying the published fees.

② In the "Allowances and Exemptions" section, the documents marked with a cross indicate you are eligible for the corresponding discount on the tuition fees. If you have documents showing evidence of your status that are not marked, you have the option of sending them electronically pressing the "Request" button so the office of the secretary can validate them.

→ There is more information on the Scholarships and grants web page and the Allowances and exemptions page.

Click the “Start” button to begin enrolment.

① Check your personal data. If you wish to change any of the data that can not be changed from this screen, contact the secretary's office of your centre.

② In the section “Electronic Communications”, please provide an email address to receive messages and notifications from the University, and a mobile number to receive communications via instant messaging (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).

③ In the section "Consult documents or data held by other administrations" you only need to check the box if you object to the UdG obtaining the details of your identity document (or, where applicable, the large family card details) via the Open Route (Via Oberta) service. If you check the box you will have to submit the documentation personally within the established time period.

④ Next, select in which cases you authorise or not the dissemination of your personal data, in accordance with the conditions set out in "Basic information on data protection".

⑤ If you have a disability, check the corresponding box and the University’s Inclusion Area will contact you. If you are student with a disability, remember that to receive fee exemptions on official courses you must show evidence of your legally recognised status by providing the corresponding documentation.

① In the top window, select the subjects from your course you wish to enrol for. Use the filter options if necessary. Your selection will appear in the lower window.

② If you wish to make a change, do the same in reverse. Click “Continue”

→ Attention! If you come from a training cycle that allows validated credit transfer, take a look at the information about automatic validated higher level vocational training cycle credit transfer.

① Once the final selection of subjects for enrolment has been made, you can change the group (if there is more than one). Click “Continue”

② If you are a degree student, on this screen you have the option to change the optional subjects that allow you do to so (optional subjects are understood as being in a block in which not all are compulsory).

① Choose the enrolment type (if applicable)

  • If you have requested a scholarship from the MEFP general regime and you meet the academic requirements established in the call, the scholarship modality will appear by default.
  • If you are entitled to other allowances or exemptions for tuition fees and have already provided the accrediting documents, the corresponding type (for example, large family, people with a disability, etc.) will appear by default.
  • If you have not yet submitted the documentation that proves you are eligible for the discount, or if you have submitted it but it has not yet been validated, you will have to process the enrolment as ordinary (without allowance). Once the university recognises the accreditation, the corresponding deduction will be applied.
  • Remember that you need to provide evidence of all the circumstances that make you eligible for allowances or exemptions within the established time frame. Further information available on the Allowances and exemptions page.

② Choose your desired optional services (use the links under “+ information” to see the conditions and provisions of each option) and the payment instalments (one, two or three). If you meet the necessary requirements, you will also have the option of monthly payment (by standing order only). Find out about the Enrolment Guidelines.

  • If you are not the account holder, check the box declaring this to be the case. You must then deliver a completed bank details communication/modification form and a copy of the national ID document of the account holder within 10 working days. You do not need to provide the form if you have been enrolled for a previous year and the bank account is the same. You can do this online via the Online Office of the Secretary.
