UdG Go is the official application of the University of Girona, completely free of charge, for carpooling among students and staff (PDI and PTGAS).It fosters more sustainable, economic and collaborative mobility.

How does the UdG Go app work?

Access UdG Go

Enter UdG Go from any device.

Identify yourself with your UdG user name

Identify yourself with your UdG user number (e.g. u0000000) and institutional password.

Search or publish journeys

  • If you are looking for transport, look for the journey that suits your timetable.
  • If you are a driver, publish a journey indicating origin and destination, and add intermediate stops if necessary.

Contact and share a car

Contact other UdG users through the messaging service on the app and organise your journey collaboratively and sustainably.

Frequently asked questions

The application does not include a payment system.

Users must agree with each other on the most convenient form of payment (cash, Bizum, etc.).

The app calculates an indicative price based on distance and an estimated cost per kilometre, aimed at sharing the travel expenses (fuel, tolls, etc.).

However, it is the driver who can set the final price, and passengers can decide if they agree before reserving their place.

  • The price is only a guide: the aim is not to make money, but to share costs.
  • We recommend speaking about it before the trip, if you have any questions or alternative suggestions.

You can access the app with any device. 

The application is designed for trips linked to the University of Girona and its community, so it is advisable to use it within this context.

If the driver or passenger does not show up, you can report it by email to udggo@udg.edu to adopt measures and help maintain confidence.

Yes, you can change or cancel the journeys you have offered or booked directly from your profile.

You can find available journeys according to your route and timetable, or create an offer if you want to be a driver or share your car.

Any member of the University of Girona community can access UdG Go, including students, PDI and PTGAS.Members of the UdG Foundation can also access the application

Members cannot access the app are Alumni, retired staff and external staff.

Yes, the use of the platform is completely free for all UdG users.
