These plans identify those responsible for the actions and their time line. Furthermore, their achievement is quantified in the form of indicators for appraising the degree of achievement and to ensure accountability.
This strategic planning can be complemented with factors including but not limited to, on the one hand, programme contracts with centres, departments, institutes or research groups and, on the other, the strategic plans of the different university services.
At a more cross-disciplinary level, different regional and even international strategic projects are in place. Sectoral Campus, European University (ACROSS) internationalisation and social commitment Shefce projects have been implemented at a regional level and the work dedicated to achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) at a global level.

This strategy includes an implementation, review, improvement and accountability cycle before the corresponding governing bodies and society in general.
