Recognised academic transfer credits

in bachelor's degree studies

Bachelor's degree study plans include up to 6 credits of academic recognition. These credits be can covered in several ways:

  1. Taking extra options on top of your own study plans.
  2. Taking part in university activities in the sphere of culture, sport, student representation, solidarity or cooperation, organised by the UdG (general).
  3. Taking part in university activities in the sphere of culture, sport, student representation, solidarity or cooperation, organised by the UdG (specific).

The Faculty of Law has its own activities which are described below. These activities are aimed solely at students belonging to the Faculty.

For each activity a name, a description, the duration, the credits and some important observations are proposed. The opening of the registration period for each activity will be announced in News in "La meva UdG".

Once the student has carried out the activity and it has been recognised, the Secretary's Office, following the administrative calendar, will enter the recognition in the student record if the student wishes it to go towards the 6 credits they have in this area.

Activities carried out in the first semester will be entered in the second half of March and those that finish in the second semester will be entered in the second half of June.

If on requesting recognition the student receives an error message that does not correspond, at the end of each month the Secretary’s Office reviews all these incidents to resolve them, if appropriate.

Mentoring student under the “PATUM” programme

Description: The activity of mentoring is regarded as a specific educational and voluntary activity. Part of the plan involves training in guidance and advice skills, the application of a mentoring programme for the students assigned, a self-assessment of an implemented activity and an assessment by the tutor in charge. The mentoring plan is implemented throughout the academic year: the mentoring student (third or fourth year) receives training at the beginning of academic year, and mentors the development of the learning process of first-year students up to the end of the academic year. The system is repeated in the second academic year.

Subject code: 3100RA0445 and 3100RA0595.

Duration: Annual.

Credits: 3 ECTS for each edition the student takes part in.

Observations: See the full regulations

These are activities that are common to all bachelor's degree students at the UdG.
