The activity consists of two courses: "Introduction to the social responsibility", which it will be made during the first semester, and "The plan of social responsibility", will be made during the second semester.The courses are addressed to the students of all faculties interested in the social responsibility.

The course is aimed at university students at all faculties and schools.It will be held online with 4 pre-recorded modules.Each of the 4 modules will show a dialogue between two renowned speakers in the area of knowledge of the course.The course will include videos with talks from various speakers, presentations and support videos.During the recording a graphic designer will make sketches that help with incorporating the key knowledge and concepts dealt with for the purposes of creating a mental scheme for helping students to set this knowledge in its cognitive structure.

The approach and methodology are for a synthesis of asynchronous and synchronic elements, using dialogue as a teaching tool for learning and creation.The sessions are simultaneously supported with expert content and promoted by the participants.Every week, small groups of participants (about 10) meet for two hours of videoconferences to engage with the content of the course and with each other, under the guidance of trained facilitators.There will be a diverse set of participants (nationality, ethnic group, gender, language and education), enabling participants to find perspective and antecedents they perhaps have never interacted with before.

The training is designed for both professionals and novices in the facilitation of dialogue with the goal of acquiring and fine tuning key skills to facilitate and promote constructive and respectful work and authentic involvement in online and on-site contexts.The education allows participants to become effective online facilitators who provoke awareness, understanding and effective intercultural communication to be multipartial and neutral leaders of processes that entail learning in a safe space and a constructive environment.Facilitators are trained to apply a diverse set of participation tools to foster sensitisation and learning and approach it through different group dynamics.

The Summer School is an activity co-organised by the International Office and the Across Office, with the participation of teaching staff from the Faculty of Arts, the Polytechnic School, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Law. The programme offers an interdisciplinary approach to rivers as socio-ecological systems in urban, rural and cross-border contexts, within the framework of global change.Through classes, discussions and field trips (in Girona and the Muga River basin), the course analyses water management, ecosystem services, conflicts over water use and nature-based solutions, integrating ecological, social and legal knowledge.It also addresses the role of environmental law in water governance, including regulations, responsibilities and European directives.
