Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TIMES
October to May: Monday to Friday mornings, from 9.30 am to 1.45 pm and Monday and Tuesday afternoons, from 3.30 pm to 4.45 pm
June and September: Mondays to Fridays, from 9.30 am to 1.45 pm
July: Mondays to Fridays, from 9.30 am to 1.15 pm
August: from 1 to 4 and from 28 to 31 August, public assistance from the Secretary’s Office will be by email and telephone.
The Academic Secretary’s Office will be closed from 7 to 27 August and during the Christmas and Easter periods. It will also be closed on all weekday public holidays in Girona.
