Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The Teaching and Community Engagement at the FEP project aligns with the Faculty of Education and Psychology’s (FEP) second strategic commitment, focusing on social responsibility and sustainability, and addresses Objective 6 of the FEP Quality Plan: promoting teaching innovation projects that tackle socio-educational, health, and socio-ecological issues linked to the local area.

As part of the Teaching and Community Engagement at the FEP project, and with the aim of highlighting and recognizing teaching initiatives that involve external stakeholders, local services, and diverse community groups—we gathered information during the 2025–2026 academic year to identify such practices taking place at the FEP.
The descriptions of these initiatives, available at the link below, clearly demonstrate the diversity and richness of the FEP’s capacity to create synergies with its surroundings and adapt to the local area's emerging needs.
