Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The Student Council of the UdG is the deliberative organisation that represents and is a point of contact for students in the daily life of the UdG. It acts as the student voice in the governing organs of the UdG among others.
