Erasmus students who have a good command of Spanish can select among the other modules that are offered in the medical programme. Nevertheless, it is important to keep in mind that most of the activities are conducted in Catalan, and the use of Spanish is at each professor's discretion in the presence of foreign students. The University of Girona offers Erasmus students a free introductory course to Catalan language and culture; more information is available on the International Relations Office webpage
