The Bachelor's thesis (TFG) forms part of the curriculum of the degree in Medicine, and consists of a module of 18 credits.

Information

Here you will find all the information related to the work, from the rules that regulate its content and scope, to all the information concerning the calendar of its administrative and academic management.

The activities included in the bachelor's thesis module consist of work experience in a healthcare centre and the design or execution of a research project.

In relation to the application, there are two options:

  • Modality A: The pupil requests three area of knowledge options in which s/he wishes to develop the bachelor's thesis, the faculty will assign a tutor and later on agree on the research work.
  • Modality B: The pupil requests specific work experience with a proposal for the tutor and research work.

Procedure and calendar:

  1. 16 March 2026: The period for submitting the bachelor's thesis application proposals begins.For this process, all students, regardless of whether they opt for Mode A or B, must fill in the form and email it to the following address secacad.areasalut@udg.edu .
  2. 17 April 2026: The deadline for submitting proposals ends.
  3. The planned date for proposing the assignment of tutors by the bachelor’s-degree thesis committee is 5 May 2025.
  4. As from 8 May 2026 the period for proposing research projects/protocols begins (for those who have opted for Mode A).This period ends on 10  July 2026. You need to fill in the form again and send it by email to the following address secacad.areasalut@udg.edu.
