Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The general pre-enrolment, admission and enrolment calendar for the university master's degrees for the academic year 2021/2022 is as follows:
Ordinary pre-enrolment call: from 10 February to 22 September 2021
* Place-reservation payment: from 2 to 15 June 2021. This payment confirms the assignment of a place and will be discounted from the final enrolment fee. If the student does not enrol, the UdG reserves the right to reassign the place. Failure to enrol within the established deadline will lead to the cancellation of the reserved place without any entitlement to a refund of the money paid. If an acceptance letter is required, the deferral payment must previously be paid. The deferral will be optional for each master and advertising will be made to the web page of each study.
Extraordinary examination session of pre-enrolment: of the 28th September in the 10th December 2021
The masters of 90 or more credits that they have vacant places they will be able to assign, until the limit of capacity established, to the candidates who accredit to gather the requirements of access to start studies on the second semester. To proceed to these assignments it will be necessary to take the academic regulations of permanence and of enrolment and the academic exploitation into account.
Enrolment: 1 to 15 September
The pre-enrolment is carried out at the Inter-University Council of Catalonia’s University Admissions Office from 29 July to 15 September 2021 (dates to be confirmed).
The allocation of places will be published on 30 September 2021 (dates to be confirmed).

(Online enrolments can be made Mondays to Fridays, from 8 am to 1 am) On-site enrolments are made at the corresponding academic secretary’s offices during the established times.)
Students studying for a joint master not coordinated by the UdG have to complete the pre-enrolment and enrolment procedures at the university coordinating the course and must adhere to the deadlines and conditions they establish.
