UdG XXI Model

Dedication of teaching and research staff

With this objective, we seek to establish a clear and equitable regulatory framework that regulates teachers’ dedication, adapting it to the specific needs of each teacher and to institutional requirements, while ensuring quality teaching and sustainable workloads.Establish precisely what constitutes a standard class hour within the framework of teaching activities, taking into account their specifics and characteristics. This will serve as a basis for standardising and ensuring coherent management of the time dedicated to teaching, while balancing teachers’ workloads and ensuring a fair and sustainable distribution of teaching responsibilities.

The stand-out actions of this objective are to:

  • Define a class hour and determine the relationship between teaching assignment, class hours and the hours dedicated to teaching
  • Draw up regulations for the hours dedicated to teaching in accordance with the UdG XXI Model and the University System Act (LOSU)
