The University Senate, in its session of 16 November, approved the UdG XXI model, a new educational model that will guide the UdG from now on. The goal of the model is to define the university’s own educational model that makes the UdG unique and responds to the new challenges and social changes anticipated in the sphere of learning in our society in the coming decades.
The model has six strategic lines for defining the action to be rolled out: defining a map of competencies, putting knowledge back at the heart of teaching activity, promoting the active role of the student in learning, personalising learning, flexibilising academic organisation and fostering university life.
This is a far-reaching proposal that means an important transformation for the university and entails changes in academic planning and academic planning.
