These documents are issued by the National Institute of Social Security at their Information and Assistance Centres. The student must show one of his or her parent’s medical insurance cards in which he or her appears as a health insurance beneficiary. If this requirement is not met, the student can obtain a European Health Insurance Card with the enrolment receipt and a document accrediting the official study programme that he or she will undertake abroad.
