Undergraduate thesis/Master’s thesis proposals connected to the territory

The Undergraduate thesis/Master’s thesis connected to the territory is a project that was created as part of a collaboration between the University of Girona and the Girona City Council, with a view to extending it to other institutions across the territory. This initiative aims to establish connections between the academic and professional spheres, offering UdG students the opportunity to develop their undergraduate or master’s thesis in real, applicable contexts. The project aims to foster collaboration that generates a mutual impact. On the one hand, the City Council can address challenges and lines of interest in the city with contributions from an academic perspective by young university students and in connexion with the university’s expertise. On the other hand, the university promotes the significant and personalised education imparted to its students, the roots of its students in the territory and the connection to the city’s needs.
