Guide to online enrolment

Academic year 2025-2026

Online enrolment is the University of Girona's electronic enrolment system where students can enrol via internet using any computer connected to it.

① Access online enrolment from any computer connected to the internet and log on with your user name and your password.

② Use the links on the left of the screen to find information on enrolment, review the subjects available for your degree, see the guide to activities with academic credits, etc.

③ If necessary, you can check the state of your academic curriculum by clicking on “Record”.

① Before starting enrolment, click on the "Grants and Allowances" tab to check if you are entitled to allowances or exemptions on tuition fees and – if you need to apply for a scholarship – to find out about the conditions for enrolling without paying the published fees.

② In the "Allowances and Exemptions" section, the documents marked with a cross indicate you are eligible for the corresponding discount on the tuition fees.If you have documents showing evidence of your status that are not marked, you have the option of sending them electronically pressing the "Request" button so the office of the secretary can validate them.If the documents do not allow their authenticity to be verified, either by through digital signature, secure verification codes (CSV) or QR codes, the University reserves the right to request the originals from you.

→ There is more information on the Scholarships and grants web page and the Allowances and exemptions page.

Click the “Start” button to begin enrolment.

① Check your personal data.If you wish to change any details that cannot be amended on this screen, please contact the secretary at your centre.

② In the section “Electronic communications”, we indicate the email address and telephone number (optional) that the UdG will use to communicate electronically with you about matters relating to academic management. If you want to change the data, go to the Digital identity page of La meva UdG (identification required).

③ In the section "Consultation of data or documents held by other administrations" you only need to tick the box if you do not agree to the UdG consulting certain documents or data that may be needed to manage or file.Bear in mind that if you tick the box you will have to submit the documentation personally within the established time period.

④ Next, select in which cases you authorise or not the dissemination of your personal data, in accordance with the conditions set out in "Basic information on data protection".

⑤ If you have a disability, tick the corresponding box and the University’s Area for Inclusion will contact you.If you are student with a disability, remember that to receive fee exemptions on official courses you must show evidence of your legally recognised status by providing the corresponding documentation.

① In the top window (“Available”), choose the subjects from your course that you wish to enrol for.Use the filter options to choose the subject blocks in accordance with the sequence established in your study plan.Your selection will appear in the lower window (“Enrolled”), and the corresponding credits will be added to the box “Total credits”.

② If you wish to make a change, do the same in reverse.Clicking on the subjects enrolled for will take them back to the available window.

→ If with the selected subjects you exceed the established minimum or maximum limit of credits, the online enrolment application procedure will not allow you to advance further and you will have to change your selection.Find out about the Enrolment Guidelines.

→ In the bachelor's degree studies, if you have failed any optional subjects you do not need to enrol for them again. You can select a new optional subject and give up the one you failed or, in some cases, switch one for the other (in the next step).

If you come from a training cycle that allows validated credit transfer, take a look at the information about Automatic validated credit transfer for higher level vocational training.

① Once you make your final choice of subjects to enrol for, in the subjects where there is more than one group available you can click on the corresponding tab and use the drop-down list to select a different group to the predetermined one.

② If in the previous screen you gave up enrolling for an optional subject you failed (or a subject not offered) and you have enrolled for a new option, in some cases you will be able to change one for the other. The subjects where this is possible include a tab for a drop-down menu where you will be able to select which failed subject is replaced by the new subject. You can also indicate that it does not substitute any subjects.

→ Bear in mind that if you opt to change an optional subject, the new subject will carry over the accumulated number of enrolments and the corresponding number of exam calls for the substituted subject.

① Choose the enrolment type (if applicable)

  • If you have requested a scholarship from the MEFP general regime and you meet the academic requirements established in the call, the scholarship modality will appear by default.
  • If you are entitled to other allowances or exemptions for tuition fees and have already provided the accrediting documents, the corresponding type (for example, large family, people with a disability, etc.) will appear by default.
  • If you have not yet submitted the documentation that proves you are eligible for the discount, or if you have submitted it but it has not yet been validated, you will have to process the enrolment as ordinary (without allowance).Once the university recognises the accreditation, the corresponding deduction will be applied.
  • Remember that you need to provide evidence of all the circumstances that make you eligible for allowances or exemptions within the established time frame.Further information available on the Allowances and exemptions page.

② Choose your desired optional services (use the links under “+ information” to see the conditions and provisions of each option) and the payment instalments (one, two or three). If you meet the necessary requirements, you will also have the option of monthly payment (by standing order only).Find out about the Enrolment Guidelines.

③ To pay academic fees by direct debit you must provide an international bank account number (IBAN).

  • If you are the account holder, check the box to confirm this and that you accept direct debits from the UdG.
  • If you are not the account holder, tick the box declaring this to be the case. You must then deliver a completed bank details communication/amendment form and a copy of the national ID document of the account holder within 10 working days. You do not need to provide the form if you have been enrolled for a previous year and the bank account is the same. You can do this online via the Online Office of the Secretary.

④ If you choose payment by credit card, within a maximum of 24 hours after completing the enrolment, you will receive an email with the instructions needed to make the first payment. For the rest of the payment deadlines you have requested, you will receive an email when the payment date is approaching.

⑤ If you are enrolling on a degree and have previously passed another, check the box corresponding to the section “Second enrolment and subsequent university education”

⑥ If any of the subjects that you have enrolled for involve working with children, you will have to prove you have no convictions for sex offences. You can authorise the UdG to check with the State Administration by checking the corresponding box, or present your criminal record check to the academic secretary’s office within the established time frame.

① Check the final figures correspond to the information you have entered.

② Once the payment has been checked, tick the declaration of conformity and press "Accept and finish".Acceptance of enrolment will activate the direct debit payment(s) from the account you have indicated, if you selected this payment option.

① You can modify your enrolment and/or print confirmation before exiting the application.

② From the following day, and thereafter throughout the year, you will find all the information on the financial status of your tuition fees (payments made and pending) in the Payments tab of the Online Office of the Secretary Enrolment section.
