During enrolment, some of the following matters are particularly important for students of Medicine:

Screen 1. Personal details

Verify that the personal details are correct: accents in your name and surnames, email for sending communications, mobile telephone, etc.

Screen 2. Entering subjects

First of all, look on the right-hand side of the screen and, in the filter, choose: First year.

You will be shown the 4 first-year subjects in the “available” section. One by one, click on the ones you want to take. They will move to “Enrolled”. Click “continue”.

Next, you will be offered, by default, one of the 10 possible groups. In the dropdown next to the group (Δ), choose a group for each subject.

IMPORTANT REMINDER when choosing group:

You have to choose a different group for each subject, whenever you can.

  • For subjects 3109G01001 and 31009G01004, which are split over two codes, you have to choose groups from the same round:
    • A1, A2, B1, B2, B3
    • C1, C2, D1, D2, D3
    • Do not choose groups from two different rounds (the class periods overlap)
  • For subjects 3109G01002 and 3109G01003, which are spread over just one round, you can choose any of the 10 groups: A1, A2, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, D1, D2, D3.
  • All groups are subject to limited places. When the groups are full, the enrolment application will not offer them to you. You have to enrol in one of those that is offered to you. Do not give up on enrolling because you are unable to go to the group that you want.

And remember that you are responsible for your enrolment.

Screen 4. Financial and other details

Once you have completed the financial data for the payment of your enrolment fees, you will come to a particularly important section for Medicine students:

Consulting data or documents in possession of other administrations

You have the right to decide not to show documents held by other administrations.

Students of the Bachelor's degree in Medicine, as is the case of Nursing students and other studies, will be required to take practical classes at institutions or centres where you may come into contact with minors. You cannot take these practical classes without a Certificate from the Sex Offenders Register. If you want the University to obtain this certificate on your behalf, sparing you the process, click:

I authorise the University of Girona to access my criminal information to prove that I have not been subject to a final sentence for a sex offence and to communicate this to the organisation where I will carry out my practical classes.

If you do not authorise this, you will have to obtain this certificate from the Ministry of Justice and through your citizen folder and submit it in person to the Faculty’s Academic Secretary at the start of each course and within the established deadlines.

Should you authorise it, but we are unable to obtain the data, we will contact you so you can manage it personally, following the previous paragraph's instructions.

Please bear in mind that you will not be able to start your practical classes until you have submitted this certificate.

Once you have finished your enrolment

Once you have finished your enrolment, you will still need to sign two more compulsory documents before you can take your practical classes!

When you finish your enrolment, you will receive an email at the address provided in your personal data, informing you that you have two documents in the Signature folder yet to be signed:

  • A commitment-to-confidentiality document (Order SSI/81/2017, of 19 January)
  • Declaration of Compliance for following the safety and health measures at the health centre

You can access the Signature folder from My UdG. In the horizontal menu in the blue banner at the top of the screen is the Personal section and clicking here opens the Signature folder. You will only be able to sign the documents with your digital certificate (electronic DNI, IdCAT)

We recommend you use IdCAT, which is a digital certificate generated by software that you can install on your personal computer and on your mobile. It's free!

Consult the following section about how to obtain IdCAT.
