Sport voluntary workers

What are the sport voluntary workers of the UdG?

Sports volunteering work continues throughout the year, for collaboration with the organisation of several sport events, carried out in the County of Girona, such as fun runs, bicycle races, and cross-country races.

We highlight the Sports Service volunteers exchange, where the members of the Sports Service can joint and obtain free ECTS throughout their studies at the UdG.

Information to note

  • Registration for volunteering is free in all cases.
  • Activity for everybody. Any member of the university community can register for them.
  • The tasks to carry out they can vary as the organisation of the sport event asks. Mainly being at refreshment stations or giving gift bags to those in the races, among other activities.
  • By carrying out sport volunteering you can collect points to achieve 1 ECTS (40 points).Find out about: changing points for credits (doing sport and leisure) . In this case enrolment payment must be made.
  • In the case of the Sports Service's voluntary member exchanges, points can be added up by collaborating in the sport activities that the Sports Service organise and up to 6 free ECTS can be obtained in bachelor's-degree studies.

Volunteer work for collaborating with Girona F.C (carried out throughout the academic year)

* Registration with Volunteer work for Girona F.C. necessarily requires completing 12 activities organised by Girona F.C. and the 40 points can thereby be obtain, giving you option to change these points for 1 ECTS. 

In that case, you will also have to Register to do sport and leisure, which costs members €29 and non-members €61.
