University access authentication:
If you have the right to exemption and/or a reduction in fees:
Enrolment linked to a grant is the University enrolment for students who foresee they will be awarded a MEPF general grant. This type of enrolment means that the student only has to pay the taxes and the public prices of the academic credits are left pending until they know if they have been awarded or denied the grant
Given that the call for the MEPF general grant, like the Generalitat equity grant (AGAUR), is usually published after enrolment has taken place, to be able to enrol without paying and to condition payment to being awarded or denied the grant you have to fulfil the following conditions:
Only if the accreditation is positive will you be able to enrol under the epigraph of enrolment linked to a grant.
Having the enrolment linked to a grant does not mean that the student is exempt from submitting the grant application when the MEPF call opens. If this application is not processed, the total amount of the enrolment will be reclaimed.
The rest of students should enrol in the usual way, and when the call for the following year is opened they will be able to apply. In this last case, the type of enrolment will not be changed until the MEPF and/or the Catalan government have made their final decision.
The university offers four methods of payment:
Regardless of the chosen method of payment, the first payment will include 100% of the amount corresponding to the academic record management and online teaching and administrative services taxes. Payment in instalments can be requested whenever the total academic fees exceed 200 euros.
If a payment bounces or an invoice is not paid in the allotted time frame, a second invoice will be issued, which can be paid in any bank branches that the University has an agreement with.
If a payment bounces, a 3 euro non-payment charge per invoice will be issued. Students who have not paid their enrolment fees by 30 May will be charged 5% of the total outstanding amount.
Non-payment of the outstanding enrolment fees will confer a debt. The University will demand this payment as a condition of any administrative process.
It is the student’s responsibility to settle the outstanding payments without the need for any prior action by the UdG.
New intake students must fill in the enrolment application form: Catalan - Spanish. Everything must be filled in and it must be signed on the front and the back. This form asks for your international bank account number (IBAN). You need to have this before enrolling as the computer program requests it on the last screen and if you do not have it you will not be able to complete the enrolment. The student enrolling must also be the title holder of the bank account used for the direct debit. If they are not the title holder, the following form and a photocopy of the DNI of the bank account holder must be produced for validation by the enrolment support staff.
Showing the documentation and proof of the right to a reduction/exemption from enrolment must be shown to the person in computer classroom 423. The enrolment support staff will validate the right to a reduction/exemption on your record so that you can enrol with this right.
Information on the subjects you must enrol for: The first-year subjects you must enrol for are already shown on the enrolment application form. The entire first year consist of 60 credits and you must enrol for a minimum of 30 credits.
This must be by direct debit, otherwise the program will not let you continue. Remember you have to opt for one of the four payment methods, in one, two or three instalments or in monthly instalment.
Grantholder students denied a grant can only make partial enrolment payments through the remaining monthly payments until 05/05/2020, since May 2020 is the deadline to pay enrolment fees.
Remember that if you enrol without having brought the documentation for a fee reduction or exemption, you will have to pay the total amount of the enrolment and no reduction will be applied. The documentation for this reduction must be effective at the time of enrolment. The valid documentation to this effect can be presented any time up to the deadline to cancel the enrolment as per the administrative calendar approved by the Governing Council (19/11/2019), except in the case of renewing the large family card, which can be presented up to 31/12/2019.
At the time of enrolment payment will be made in accordance with the fees established by the Government of Catalonia. You can consult these fees in the following link (remember that nursing degrees correspond to coefficient C).
Once you have filled in the enrolment application you will do the online enrolment on a PC in computer classroom 423.
When you are in front of the computer it will ask for your:User name - you have to enter your DNIPassword - You must enter your date of birth ddmmyyyy.
Students must follow the instructions on the screen. When you have finished check the amount and confirm the enrolment. Ask for two copies to be printed and you can leave. You will have individual support at all times should you need it.
