Extracurricular placements

Information for students

The Social Commitment and Career Guidance Unit processes extracurricular placements, where the student does not enrol for any subject and does not obtain credits at the end of the placement.

To see current offers you have to access the Placement Platform and select the centre "Social Commitment and Career Guidance Unit".

Placement platform (PIPE)

Requirements:

  • To currently be enrolled and have achieved 50% of credits for the Bachelor's degree or to be enrolled on the Master's degree.

Conditions:

  • The maximum number of hours per academic year is 750, between 12/09/25 and 11/09/26.
  • Placements will be paid at the rate of at least €6 per hour (we recommend €8 per hour).
  • The student should be registered to pay Social Security contributions and the correspondingIRPF income tax rate should also be applied.

From 1 June 2019, organisations taking on students on placements must pay an administration charge of €130.
