Chair of didactics of mathematics M. Antònia Canals

Training

The M. Antònia Canals Chair of Mathematics Education organises various training activities in collaboration and in accordance with the general training guidelines of the Catalan Ministry of Education, which are also published on the GAMAR website:

Monthly open sessions to present materials for primary-school teachers, as part of the Annual Series of Training Activities.

Monthly sessions

Welcoming visits from groups of future primary-school teachers, active primary-school teachers and other professionals interested in the work of the Chair, both from Catalonia and from other regions, following a previously arranged schedule.

Visits

Thematic seminars and talks on current issues in children’s mathematics education, given by renowned experts in the field.

Organising and/or taking part in Mathematics Learning conferences and congresses.

Conference

Collaboration between students in Mathematics Education subjects on the UdG’s Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching and local schools: organisation of the Mathematics Fair, application of new teaching strategies and resources, etc.
