Objectives

Chair of didactics of mathematics M. Antònia Canals

  1. Consolidate the Office of Materials and Research for Mathematics at the School-GAMAR, of the University of Girona, as a reference centre for the training of mathematics teachers.
  2. Designing, on an annual basis, a solid educational offering in Didactics of the Mathematics, in collaboration and in accordance with the general lines of education of the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia.
  3. Designing and carrying out research into questions of early years mathematical education.
  4. Build a network with institutions and organisations that promote the professional development of mathematics teachers.
  5. Disseminate the work of Professor M. Antònia Canals and facilitate access to its production in the field of innovation in mathematics education.
