In line with the mathematics education research areas and agendas on teaching analysis and teachers’ professional development, the Chair’s director systematically designs the research to be carried out, primarily in collaboration with the teaching and research staff of the Mathematics Education area of the UdG’s Department of Subject-Specific-Education, the UdG’s Institute of Educational Research and the UdG’s Doctoral Programme in Education.

In addition, collaborations are also set up with other organisations, primary-school teachers’ associations and researchers from other universities linked to mathematics teacher training and research in mathematics education.

Likewise, both the Chair’s director and the part-time teacher maintain close contact with schools in the Girona area, mainly to collaborate in this research in order to receive feedback.
