School of Doctoral Studies

Quality commission

The Quality Committee at the Polytechnic School is the body responsible for quality processes relating to the teaching institution's official degrees and diplomas. The CQC will have to see to quality in the approach and deployment of the verification, follow-up, modification and accreditation processes for doctoral programmes taught at the centre, as well as the internal quality management system (SGIQ) at teaching-centre level.

The School of Doctoral Studies’ Quality Committee is made up of the following:

  • Director of the School, who presides over it
  • The person in charge of the centre’s quality processes
  • The coordinators of every doctoral programme at the UdG or joint programme coordinated from the UdG
  • A lecturer from each of the science, technology, humanities, social and health sciences areas
  • A researcher in training from each of the science, technology, humanities, social and health sciences areas
  • A representative of the PAS, whose role relates to organising and managing teaching
  • Up to a maximum of 3 representatives from external organisations relating to the centre’s studies
  • A representative of PhDs from the UdG
  • Member of the PAO (Planning and Assessment Office) (without a vote)
