The Quality Committee at the School of Doctoral Studies is the body responsible for quality processes relating to the teaching institution's official degrees and diplomas. The CQC will have to see to quality in the approach and deployment of the verification, follow-up, modification and accreditation processes for doctoral programmes taught at the centre, as well as the internal quality management system (SGIQ) at teaching-centre level.

The School of Doctoral Studies’ Quality Committee is made up of the following:

• Director of the School of Doctoral Studies (EdD), who presides over it
• The person responsible for the centre’s quality processes (RespQ), who will be proposed by the director
• The coordinators of the EdD's doctoral programmes and the joint-university ones coordinated by the EdD
• 5 doctoral students for each area (humanistic, social, health, technological and scientific)
• 5 teachers for each area (humanistic, social, health, technological and scientific)
• 1 representative of the administrative and service staff (PAS), whose functions relate to the organisation and management of teaching at the EdD
• One person representing junior doctors
• Up to a maximum of 3 representatives from external organisations relating to the doctoral studies, at the suggestion of the EdD's director
• If they are available, the EdD’s administrator or, in their absence, the person acting as director of the SGAiE who is the one managing the technical side of the EdD, will assume the functions of secretary in the absence of the EdD's Quality technical staff
• If they are available, the EdD's Quality technical officer or, in their absence, a technical officer at the GPA (in an advisory, non-voting capacity)
• The academic secretary at the EdD
