(G)Innova guides young people for professional success and job innovation by working to improve cross-disciplinary competences, giving them tools and resources to promote their personal brand and orientating and accompanying them in the search for employment and entrepreneurship.

Objectives, actions and stages

Objectives

Analysing the young person's competency profile to identify their general skills and establish an individualised plan for improving cross-cutting competencies to enable young people to innovate in their job.

The programme gives professional guidance in entrepreneurship and provides young people with information, advice and support in job hunting and/or developing their entrepreneurial project.

Young people will be advised by a tutor to get through each stage, with face-to-face and online guidance and/or tutorial sessions, not just individually but also as a group to pool each stage of the process and facilitate their self-assessment.

The programme is aimed at 45 young people, with gender parity, and will have 3 tutors.

Actions

  • Guiding young people by giving them tools and resources to promote their personal brand, enabling them to start to search for employment from the beginning of the project.
  • Guiding young people for professional success and innovation at work by working on improving their general competencies.
  • Guiding and supporting young people in the search for work and entrepreneurship.
  • Guiding, informing and supporting young people to learn about the main entrepreneurial areas of the province of Girona.
  • Guiding and supporting young people with on-site workshops in each phase.
  • Supporting young people with outings and visits to companies to see real cases relating to the knowledge gained in each phase.
  • The programme is structured in 3 stages, timed with their individual work and group workshops in each of them.

Stage 1. Welcome

As a supplement to the guide, the programme provides for visits of each of the three groups of young people to 5 companies in the region and attendance at the Employment Fair.

The programme provides for the young people in each group taking part in 10 civic, social or cultural activities.
