Religious assistance and learning service (SAFOR)

Religious Assistance and Learning Service

We are a service jointly constituted by the University of Girona and the Bishopric of Girona.
Our activities are:

  • Human and religious welcome.
  • Treatment and study of subjects and questions in connection with the relationships between faith and culture.
  • Celebrations of faith.
  • Cultural entertainment in connection with other UdG groups and services.

These activities are aimed at students; teaching and research staff; technical staff, management and service administration staff.

What do we do?

The SAFOR, with the collaboration of the association Friends of the Christian Centre of University Students, organises activities in two fields:


  • Book presentations.
  • Lectures.
  • Visits to religious heritage.


  • Volunteer experiences with elderly people.
  • Volunteer experiences in a penitentiary facility.
