Enrolment tutorial
This tutorial takes place prior to enrolment (July or September). This one-on-one tutorial with the coordinator provides information on the general structure of the course, the features of the different training subjects and objectives. As applicable, information is also provided on student services and accommodation available at the UdG.The coordinator will provide information about whether the student may need additional support based on his/her prior knowledge so that, when choosing subjects, he/she may receive orientation on how to approach them.
Welcome tutorial
This information session is held during October and is for all students under the coordinator's guidance. At this session, information about work placements and the Master's thesis is given, in addition to advice on how to organise a work placement agreement and information on the selection process for the work placement offer and the assessment process for these subjects.
Tutorials with the academic tutor of the TFM
These are held at the moment the student joins the company, administrative body or research group to start their Master’s thesis. These meetings are daily or weekly, as specified in the convention agreed between the student and his/her tutor. In the first meeting, the objective and calendar of the Master’s thesis are defined and afterwards, a tutorial is held to discuss progress and lessons learned by the student.Students doing the TFM in an external entity will be assigned a tutor at that entity who will monitor then during their time at the institution/company.The student can also consult with the coordinator for any problems he/she incurs.
