Considerations to bear in mind

Teaching will mainly be in Catalan, but we will make the necessary resources available for students that do not understand this language so that they can follow the classes easily. The Language service also has several courses for introducing and improving Catalan, as well as various resources.

To get the most out of the subjects of SIG Applications and Multivariate analysis of environmental data, we advise students that have not studied statistics or geographical information systems (SIG) during the bachelor's degree to take some of the online courses and/or review the information indicated here. In the case of SIG Applications, students need to provide a certificate of having completed a SIG introductory course before the master’s degree programme begins. The certificate has to be sent to the coordinator of the master by electronic mail.

You will find a brief summary of the master and its structure in the promotional video available here.
