The master's degree programme represents a professional specialisation option for teachers working in infant, primary and secondary education, social educators, social workers, teachers and educational psychologists, to train professionals who are required to provide a response to a variety of educational needs on account of personal reasons and cultural and social reasons, as experts in attention to diversity from the perspective of inclusive education. Degree holders can develop their professional activity as specialists in attention to diversity in infant, primary, special education and secondary schools and in itinerant multidisciplinary teams (provided the qualification to be able to teach at these educational levels has been obtained previously). They can also work as specialist professionals in centres and services outside schools that provide support for children and young people in vulnerable situations for cultural or social reasons and/or with intellectual functional diversity. Recognition of the master's degree by the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia From 1 November 2023, for those who have taken the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, this master’s degree recognises this as a merit for accessing the job bank for the speciality of Therapeutic Pedagogy (teaching corps-597).
