Pre-enrolment shared subjects

Academic year 2026-2027

Pre-enrolment period: from 11 to 15 May

We need to know how many groups need to be offered for subjects with placements. The subjects affected in each bachelor's degree are:

  • Biology: Optional subjects in the 3rd and 4th year (see attached file)
  • Biotechnology: Optional subjects in the 4th year(see attached file)
  • Environmental Sciences: Optional subjects in the 4th year (see attached file)
  • Biology/Biotechnology: Two mandatory 3rd year subjects (Genomics, Bacterial Physiology), five mandatory 4th year subjects (Immunology, Virology, Neurobiology, Clinical and Genetic Microbiology), five mandatory 5th year subjects (Applied Genetics, Animal Biotechnology, Vegetal Biotechnology, Food Biotechnology and Biotechnology of Reproduction) and most optional subjects (see attached file)
  • Biologia/ Environmental science: Two mandatory 4th year subjects (Vertebrates and Arthropods) plus optional 5th year subjects (see attached file)

Because of this, students will be obliged to complete PRE-ENROLMENT for these subjects.

Pre-enrolment period
from 11 to 15 May
Who has to pre-enrol:
all students who have to enrol for one of the affected subjects whether doing so for the first time or retaking it.
IMPORTANT.Pre-enrolment for these subjects is also necessary if you want to process them as credits of recognition academic or as a complement to education.
If you are planning MOBILITY
You only need to pre-enrol for the subjects you will be taking at the UdG.You do not need to pre-enrol for the subjects in your Study Agreement.Remember that whichever semester your mobility is in, your Study Agreement needs to be signed and submitted to mobilitat.fc@udg.edu before 1 June.

Depending on the result of pre-enrolment, groups and subjects will be scheduled and a place guaranteed for all those pre-enrolled.

If you do not complete pre-enrolment, these subjects will not appear for you in the online enrolment process in July and you will not be able to enrol for them. Even though you can apply, we cannot guarantee you a place on them.

Procedure

Before pre-enrolment

  1. Check the document of affected subjects where you have the subjects for your bachelor's degree (as from the 3rd year) and which one require pre-enrolment.
  2. Be sure about which subjects you must/would like to take in the next academic year.
  3. Check the timetables for the subjects and the exam calendar published on the web.

  2. Choose the bachelor's degree or dual bachelor's degree that you’re taking
  3. The subjects which require pre-enrolment will appear by year and/or module
  4. Select the subjects you want to do in the next academic year
  5. Mark the rest as “No pre-enrolment”
  6. If before you submit your form you see that you have made a mistake by selecting a subject you don’t want to take, the only way you can deselect it is to tick “Do not enrol”
  7. Send

If after you submit the form you realise you have made a mistake, you will be able to complete the process again (mark all the subjects again). IMPORTANT: The last pre-enrolment form you submit will be deemed as the correct one.

Enrolment

During the enrolment period for the Faculty of Science (from 7 to 11 July 2025) you need to enrol for all the subjects you want to take (those requiring pre-enrolment and all others too)

If you have NOT completed pre-enrolment or want to change a subject outside of the pre-enrolment period

  • You will need to apply from La Meva > procedures > application to the administration > other enrolment matters as soon as you realise.
  • These applications will be resolved in strict order of receipt once the enrolment process for students of the Faculty of Science is completed, as long as there are still places available for the subject.
  • If no places are left, you will be put on a waiting list in case a place is available once the resolution stage is over, and you will be informed of which subjects still have places available.
