The Student Council considers it essential for all students to take part in cultural activities, which can provide them with new knowledge and experiences, in addition to promoting the university spirit and strengthening the UdG’s values.

That is why the Cultural Commission is offering a series of activities throughout the academic year, covering several areas included within culture, such as social initiatives, creating activities for collaborating with the TV3 Marathon, leisure with film sessions or various competitions, learning and awareness with the various talks or the new feature that has been incorporated this year, the merit prizes, which are awarded to associations and students that have contributed value to the university.

A week allocated to culture, what is more, has been established during the academic year, with each of the days of the week given over to a different activity, concluded with the UdG’s famous big annual festival, recently called "La Glaudator".
