The Economics and Philosophy double degree is suitable for the student with a critical eye and interested in understanding how the economy and society function. We recommend that students choose options such as mathematics and languages, particularly English, for their upper secondary school diploma. Skills acquired This double degree will provide the student with the skills to manage and understand economic information, summarise it and critically analyse it, while being aware of the multi-disciplinary nature of economic issues that may arise during a later career. The student will be able to analyse complex economic situations and offer appropriate solutions of handling them. Focus will be on the interpretation and critical analysis of philosophical arguments and texts from different periods and traditions. Through this, the student will be able to concisely express complex and controversial philosophical problems, while understanding the strategies required to solve them. The student will develop philosophical texts and arguments the correct technical terminology and be able to use the acquired knowledge, argumentative techniques and philosophical analysis in non-academic contexts.
