Geography is discovering the world with the wish to intervene to improve it. The study of geography falls between natural sciences and social sciences.

  • Territory is an area in which the conflicts of our society are made present. We will learn to understand the dynamics and to manage them.
  • The environmental challenge and conservation of the planet are the biggest issues we face this century. It is essential to have a thorough understanding of the environment and the way society and nature interact in order to tackle this question.
  • Through geography, we also reflect on contemporary society and the challenges resulting from globalisation, cultural transformation, migrations and the relationships between the various worlds that make up the planet.

Proporcionar una formació bàsica en geografia amb una especialització en ordenació del territori i gestió del medi ambient; enfocament aplicat amb tallers i pràcticums des dels primers cursos i amb un gran pes de les pràctiques externes i del treball final de grau.
