1. International tourism and development. Allows for specialisation in sustainable tourist development projects at and international scale, collaborating with non-governmental organisations (NGO) or international agencies to promote responsible tourism.
2. Tourist diplomacy. Knowledge in international relations allows tourism to be identified as a tool for diplomacy between countries, working in diplomatic missions or in international tourist offices.
3. Planning and management of global resources. Combining the understanding of global dynamics with tourist needs, allowing holders to work in the planning and management of community resources for sustainable tourism.
4. International tourist consulting firm. Holders can offer consulting services to international companies in the tourist sector, contributing to understanding and exploring the different cultural and legal contexts of multiple countries.
5. Global marketing and communication. Combining the skills of tourist marketing with an understanding of global dynamics offers the opportunity to develop professional communication roles in international or multinational tourist promotion agencies.

University master’s degrees
The UdG offers an extensive master’s-degree programme. Master's degree courses offer advanced, specialised or multidisciplinary training, aimed at providing students with an academic or professional specialism or an introduction to research. These are official courses that enable students to move on to study for a doctoral degree.
Doctorate degree programmes

Placements
Students have to gain a series of credits, as part of their studies, which correspond to internships in companies or institutions relating to the bachelor’s degree they are studying. The teaching load is determined in accordance with the curriculum.
Bachelor's thesis
To obtain the degree, students have to complete a bachelor's thesis (TFG) which serves to assess the general skills they have acquired over the course of the degree programme and offers a summary of the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The teaching load of the thesis depends on the curriculum of the degree.
Mobility
Students can complete part of their degree programme abroad through the Erasmus programme, which enables them to carry on their studies whilst undertaking an international exchange with academic value in a European university.
