The Advertising and Public Relations courses aim to train professionals who are able to show their expertise in design and advertising management, on the one hand, and on the other, in developing public relations strategies. To achieve these two great objectives, the programme prioritises the development of communication skills, particularly with regard to communication strategy, and the ability to manage and lead work teams, mastering basic verbal communication tools and new technologies applied to audiovisual production and the creation of multimedia products. Therefore, the course programme follows a practical teaching model, aligned to the types of skills selected, skills that, in order to achieve them, require the student to be put in real learning situations, through simulations, case studies and role play. Essential points of the Advertising and Public Relations degree programme When you finish the course, you should have achieved the following goals: Acquired theoretical knowledge of advertising and public relations Mastered graphic design tools and tools for producing audiovisual and multimedia products. Know the structure of advertising media and supports. Use strategic and persuasive communication. Discriminate between the various rhetorical resources for sales pitches. Protect ethics and the code of conduct in professional activities, as well as the legal system, both in relation to advertising and public relations.
