Image analysis, Medical applications
Image processing and analysis, together with artificial intelligence, are currently key fields for advancement in medicine, biotechnology, health and wellness. Research and the development of tools in these fields have numerous direct applications in industry, where the needs are ever greater. The Master in Medical Image Computing (MIC) is a 60 ECTS master's degree that was created with the idea of offering high quality education in the fields of artificial intelligence and the development of software applications for computer-aided diagnosis in medical environments, as well as providing an introduction to robotic applications in this environment. The MIC master's degree offers innovative and up-to-date academic content, which will allow students to lay the foundations for their future professional development. The MIC professors are actively involved in research, and are leaders in the field both within Spain and internationally.
