Students who complete the dual degree will be obtain the two-year Master in Computer Engineering from the Université de Bourgogne, (Master in Vision and Robotics (VIBOT), and the one-year Master in Medical Image Computing-ERR:REF-NOT-FOUND- offered by the UdG.The programme promotes international mobility among students. The first year is spent entirely in France, studying on the VIBOT master's programme, while the second year is spent on the Master in Medical Image Computing programme offered at the UdG.That enables students to obtain their dual degree in two years.
The main purpose of the programme is to educate students in developing and using software apps to help with computer-assisted diagnosis computer in medical environments. The programme puts special emphasis on image-processing and analysis techniques as well as also the application of the computer vision and AI strategies (Deep Learning) that clearly being introduced in this field of application, as in many others. Thanks to the training provided, this master's degree therefore provides unique IT-level knowledge, especially in the field of medical imaging, from acquisition to recent designing and programming techniques, to extract image markers (biomarkers), not to mention the use of AI and Big Data algorithms that allow images to be automatically analysed.
