Research Group on Ecology of Inland Waters (GRECO)

The Research Group in Continental Aquatic Ecology (GRECO) corresponds to GRCT0017 group at the University of Girona (UdG) and is made up of all the teaching and research staff from the area of ecology (Department of Environmental Sciences) at the UdG, whose research is affiliated to the Institute of Aquatic Ecology (IEA, UdG) . The group also belongs to EcoAqua (Research Group Recognised by the Government of Catalonia 2021-2023: 2021 SGR 1142). GRECO is a big interdisciplinary group with substantial experience in limnological research, especially in three general areas (Fluvial ecology and ecotoxicology, Ecology and conservation of continental fish, and Limnology of lagoons and Mediterranean wetlands).
