Researchers: Dr. Jordi Bou and Ms. Fiona Corominas

This line of research focuses on the study of the ecology of vegetation and the conservation of flora. The aim is to improve the knowledge and understanding of these organisms and plant units in order to improve the management and conservation of the natural environment.
The objectives of this line of Research and Investigation are:
1) Improve knowledge of the distribution and association of plant flora and communities
2) Analyse the effect of global change on vegetation, from the population scale to the landscape scale
3) Studying the flora and vegetation of continental waters
4) Develop applied Research and Investigation studies on vegetation
5) Transfer botanical knowledge into biodiversity management
