During these years, the group has collaborated with numerous research groups from other universities, on both research and teaching. At the international level, the close collaboration with the University of Perpignan and the Università di Sassari, el Dipartimento di Pianificazione del Istituto di Arquitettura di Venecia, el Dipartimento Interateneo Territorio de la Università e Politecnico di Torino, l’Institut Français de Géopolitique de l’Université Paris 8 and the University of Perpignan-Via Domitia should be highlighted. At a national level, there has been collaboration with the network formed by the Universidad Pablo Olavide de Sevilla, the Universitat de València, the University of Alacant, the University of Múrcia, University of Malaga and the Universidad de Granada.
As for institutions outside the European Union, it is worth highlighting the links established through international projects, such as the development of the MEHMED master's degree, with universities on the southern shores of the Mediterranean, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia; and recently with others in Latin America, for example in Argentina with the National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, and in Colombia.
Collaborations have been developed thanks to the mobility of predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers and teaching staff (in Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Portugal, etc.) and of Erasmus + initiatives by students.
Moreover, we have collaborated with non-university institutions, such as the Government of Catalonia, Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT), the Comunitat de Treball del Pirineus, the Societat Catalana d’Ordenació del Territori and the Fundació Catalunya Europa.
These results have contributed both quantitatively and qualitatively to enriching the scientific production of the research group (doctoral theses, journal articles, book chapters, monographs, etc.), at different levels.
