Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The teaching of many learning programmes involves lectures or sessions taught by external professionals. The range of methods is very extensive: sessions in curriculum subjects, seminars, workshops, etc.
It is also possible to task external professionals with entire subjects, both at bachelor's degree and master's degree level (associated lecturer) when it is a matter of ongoing training (refresher or specialisation).
