In March 2020, Andrew Folkard from the Lancaster Environment Centre of the Lancaster University (UK) makes a research stay at our Laboratory of Environmental Physics within the framework of the FragmentUm project. The main objective of this stay is to work on experiments performed to study the effect of fragmentation on hydrodynamics and sediment transport of turbidity currents, as well as on experiments conducted during the stay of Marianna Soler at the NIOZ Research Center in Yerseke, Netherlands.
