Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % Recuperable Mass Spectrometry - Problem-solving exercises: group exercises related to the topic will be performed in class. This activity cannot be repeated. In making these exercises comprehension of the exercise, clarity of writing, use of correct terminology, and the correction of the answer will be taken into account. 14 No Heteronuclear NMR - Problem-solving exercises: group exercises related to the topic will be performed in class. This activity cannot be repeated. In making these exercises comprehension of the exercise, clarity of writing, use of correct terminology, and the correction of the answer will be taken into account. 14 No 2D NMR - Problem-solving exercises: group exercises related to the topic will be performed in class. This activity cannot be repeated. In making these exercises comprehension of the exercise, clarity of writing, use of correct terminology, and the correction of the answer will be taken into account. 14 No Final examination: this will consist of applied questions and problems from the whole of the syllabus This activity can be repeated. The examination will consist of applied questions and problems from the whole of the syllabus. In making the examination the correct approach to the solution of the problems, the full description of the data and the correction of the answer will be taken into account 58 Sí
During the course continuous evaluation exercises will be performed in class in previously announced sessions. Failure to attend any of the evaluation exercises will result in a zero for the corresponding part of the total mark. The subject will only be qualified as "No presentat" when the student has not attended any of the evaluation exercises or has only attended the first problem-solving exercise (see the specific criteria for the qualification of "No presentat"). The minimum pass mark will be 4 out of 10 in the final exam and an overall mark of 5 out of 10. Activities that can be repeated: Only the final examination can be repeated. In the case that a student repeats the final examination the new mark will substitute the old mark independently of whether this represents an improvement. Students wishing to repeat the final examination must notify the lecturer at least one week before the official date for resits. If fraudulent activity is detected (use of information without authorisation, use of false information, use of unauthorised devices, impersonation, total or partial plagiarism, purchase and sale of tests, practicums and assignments, etc.) in any exercise required in the evaluation of a subject, it will result in a fail being given for the subject, independently of the disciplinary process that may be followed against the offending student. Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:The subject will only be qualified as "No Presentat" when the student has not attended any of the evaluation exercises or has only attended the first problem-solving exercise. Avaluació única:Students who take the single assessment ("Avaluació única") will have as their only assessment activity an exam which will consist of applied questions and problems from the whole syllabus. The minimum mark of this exam to pass the subject must be 5.0 out of 10. Requisits mínims per aprovar:The minimum pass mark will be 4 out of 10 in the final exam and an overall mark of 5 out of 10.
Tutorials (Face-to-face preferentially but also via online platforms or email) can be scheduled at times agreed with the teacher via e-mail.
Communication and interaction with students will be done through Moodle platform, using the notice forum. e-mail should remain a one-off event.
It is necessary to have previous knowledge on structural determination techniques (MS and NMR) to follow the course.
