He teaches including Art in the Modern Period in Europe; Art in the Modern Period in Catalonia; Art in the Pontifical Court (1490-1527); Spanich painting: From El Greco to Velázquez; Caravaggio; Dutch and Flemish Painting: Rubens, Rembrandt and Vermeer etc. He also teaches History of Culture. His research focuses on the art produced in Catalonia in the 16th and 17th centuries, with emphasis on the phenomenon of the reception of European art through the importing of works, artists' travels and the circulation of engravings from the Netherlands, Italy and France. Additionally, he is interested in the heritage and social aspects of art. He studies episodes of the safeguarding and destruction of artistic heritage in Catalonia. He has commissioned exhibitions (From Flandes to Italy, Lights of the Baroque period, Golden Dawn) and is a member of the Board of Classification and Exportation of Artistic Heritage and of the Girona Heritage Committee of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
