Welcome to the Carles Pous Sabadí web page. Carles Pous received the degree in Telecommunication Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC,Spain) in 1993 and the PhD degree from the Universitat de Girona (UdG) in 2004. His research is carried out in the Institute of Computer Science and Applications (IIiA) of the UdG and it is focused on the artificial intelligence techniques for medical prognosis and electronics. There are several publications in national and international conferences related to this subject. Also, Data Mining and mobile communications are areas of his interest. As he has a high interest in the applied research, he has been running several projects together with particular companies for transferring some research results to the industrial domain.
